El Campello also has a marina and access to the Alicante-Denia railway. This railway
runs the full length of the coast with often quite spectacular scenery. It stops at all the
towns and villages on the way and is ideal for a short trip into Alicante or Benidorm
without the hassle of trying to park the car.
Driving towards Alicante you reach the "out of town" shopping precincts where you go
for major shopping expeditions. Here you get the main hypermarkets, DIY stores and
furniture shops, etc. without having to go into Alicante itself.
